Everyone arrived and was seated. The Time was now. Colonel Skywarden, commander of the 502nd, had had a horrible morning. He was not happy and had a lot to say...

The Holoprojector come alive. It shows three planets at once. Cardia, the former Imperial academy planet. Duro, the important trading and starship port. Finally, Ord Mantell.

The Colonel starts his briefing "I would start by asking you to hold all questions until the end of the briefing. I and Major Shar have a ton of info to tell you and not much time"

He moves to the holoprojector "At 02:00, I received what ended up being three almost iedentical messages from New Republic High Command. They had been tracking the progress of Krayt Teams 2, 3, and 4. 2 was on a rescue mission on Duro to find the family of a Duros businessmen that had Imperial fleet movement plans. 3 was on Cardia training with recent defected Imperial Marine on the latest Imp tactics, and 4 was on Ord Manttel putting down a mercenary group that recent pledged support the a local Imp Warlord. Every mission was Black-level, and every mission went Dark 24 hrs ago. No Coms, no message, nothing. High Command sent the 126th SpecOps teams to investigate and found the following...."

The Colonel flip the image on the projector. It now has 3 pictures. The picture show Teams 2, 3, and 4 in piles murdered.

"As you can see, each mission was somehow found and executed. The 126th Commander told me his operators thought maybe the Imp somehow put together a Shadow Trooper group, but all 3 teams were hit around the same time based on last of contact and the condition of their bodies"

The Colonel shuts off the projector now "As of now, you 6 are what remains of Krayt Squad. We have orders to weed out and find the SOBs that did this, and I intend to do just that. Major Shar will take it from here"

Major Shar comes up now, her skin-tight features showing in the dark light. "In about 30 minutes, we are going to depart. Load up your gear. Pack for a long trip, it may be some time before we come home." She look to Captain Tarvik "Captain Tarvik, you are now commander of Krayt Team Alpha." She turns next to Lt. Zallven "Lieutenant, you are now the XO of Krayt Team Alpha. You are now a Senior Lieutenant. Congrats." She looks over the group "The rest of you welcome to Krayt Team Alpha"
