In a world of turmoil, strife, and misunderstandings appears the very embodiment of fury and rage - Darth Torrent.

Torrent began his life on a relatively unknown planet in the unknown region where he found a odd object while exploring what he thought was natural ruins. This object projected a image which offered him great power with the realization that he would have to give something important up for it. Not knowing the price Julian accepted and began his training, although careful to do his chores before training his parents grew wary noticing a change in his demeanor.

The years rolled by until Julian became old enough to start wanting other things for himself, his parents forbade him to leave thinking him not ready yet, and not mature enough. In a rare moment of rage he cut them both down in their sleep, realizing his dark destiny and becoming a dark warrior for the sith tradition.

In his travels he has learned that homicidal tendencies and destructive behavoir isn't always the answer(that sometimes being subtle has its advantages), Torrent has also gained 2 companions, one of which is something called a imperial inquisitor, the other showing signs of being a sith similar to him however more devious and conniving.

Torrent believes that his destiny is leading him to a inevitable altercation with the New Republic, not believing that his small group is ready yet he waits and watches for his chance, listening to the force and or fate to show him the time to strike. When that time arrives the battlefield will be strewn with the bodies of his enemies and the remains of destroyed equipment and collateral damage.

Destiny fulfilled (corruption) - Julian was led down the path to the darkside by the gatekeeper of the holocron he found, granting him a +1 destiny bonus to his Strength and Dexterity scores.

In a ship in the outer rim a female looks out a window to the stars reminescing on her path to this point...
Born amongst a "dark" omen on a remote planet in the unknown region, Jelfeins people saw her as the "saving grace" that would elevate them back to their rightful place among the galaxy by bringing the extermination of the Jedi Order.

They first taught her to survive, while teaching her about the cruelty and treachery of the Jedi when they slaughtered and scattered her people across the galaxy. Jelfein learned of her connection to the force - the "exalted" 6 had her train with the Jedis favorite weapon(having been fortunate enough to grab 1 while fleeing so many years ago), while being indoctrinated into their inner circle. It didn't take long for her to become impatient with how long the others we're willing to wait, her rage hate and passion inflamed to a intense "inner heat". Jelfein left the others when she turned 16 to go find one who would teach her true power, so she could start wiping out the Jedi.

2 years later Jelfein came across a Sith Lord who she convinced to train her - Darth Kryptor. During those 2 years she learned the ways of the sith and was finally able to call herself an apprentice. Jelfein took the name Darth Cynder. She took a lightwhip as her weapon and was partial to armor. There were still "deficiencies" to work out though, like her impatience and getting a handle of her rage rather than letting it control her.

after 5 years of patience and waiting Darth Cynder ambushed and slaughtered her master, she had learned all she was going to from from her master. Darth Cynder had crossed from being an apprentice to being a master. After torching the place she had called home for 7 years Cynder sold off whatever was valuable and not essential, then booked passage on this ship to start her crusade. Noone aboard knows who she is, and aside from a few scars gained from her misadventures as a apprentice, most of her signature gear is in storage.

Destiny Her destiny is to destroy those who persecuted and scattered her people, the Jedi Order.

Can threats include good guys too? Or is it all bad guys and fringe types?

I know this is a little late but do you want them to have backgrounds? Should they the backgrounds be generic or era specific?

The most devious and diabolical darksider is the one who doesn't know...Dragoon was a force warrior for a very Jedi-like force tradition/organization. When going to investigate a "disturbance" in the galaxy him and his companions were captured by overwhelming force. He woke up 2 years later in a cell. The party helped each other in getting out of a abandoned compound. After getting back with the organization they were a part of everyone found out that they were captured 2 years ago. So the question is what happened in those 2 years and why can't they remember?

Since then him and his companions have solved multiple problems...and have had at least one cantina altercation that got "interesting". Finally him and the other force warrior finished their "trials". Now to see what the future entails. Dragoon has struggled to find his center while being a warrior that can wield lethal skill. He favors the ataru form of lightsaber combat.

In the same body...those 2 lost years the party was being experimented on with alchemy and darkside rituals to turn the party, and this caused multiple personality disorder in both the person and the force. The bodies were in force trance to keep them compliant. Out of all this is born...her

[Yolanda Sunderblade is a 19 year old human female soldier that was working for a shadow academy as their guard to keep the other students in to finish their training while the trainees where to try and get out to keep her on her toes. She was sent with some of those from the site to their destiny, or doom she didn't much care. She tends to not know her own strength unless you anger her...that tech spec will hope she doesn't find him to get her ship back.
