Zallven is smiling smugly to himself when his eyes go bright again.  He begins tapping the centers of his cards, and then Tarvik calls.  A look of pure shock and dismay goes over his face, then reluctantly he reaches over and taps the generator to freeze all cards.  The combo he had seen materializing had vanished as soon as it had appeared and left him with nothing.  With shame, he reveals his hand:  Master of Coins, Master of Flasks, Ace of Staves, and the Evil One.  "28."  He places his head against the table.  He had bombed out.  How could he have been so foolish?

The Colonel look at his chrono. It's been 3 hours already into the flight. He can hear as the sabacc game id getting good, but he needs sleep, he looks up to Thorr in the gunner's chair still "The ship is yours big guy, I'm going to get a cat nap." With that, he kicked back the leg rest on his chair, leans back and quickly falls asleep, letting the drum of hyperspace help him get there.

Gregor successfully falls asleep. The sound of his snoring is audible beyond the closed visor and his gently playing music.

Tarvik reveals his hand. 27 He doesn't see how his hand could end up the winning one; but so far, it is.

Much appreciated, Sergeant. It will be helpful to me on the field.

Shkop reveled his hand. Read em and weep boys. 19. Shkop collected the chips form the pile and collected the stack of cards from Zallven.  Another hand? Shkop spoke as he already began to deal it.

Zallven I believe it's your turn to start with the betting.

"I'm in for 50."  With an extra set of hand now free from dealing, Zallven begins rummaging around for something to eat.  "Ha!" he cries as he holds aloft a stash of nerf jerky.  He pulls one out and busily begins to munch on it while offering a piece to Shkop.  "Hungry?"

As Zallven examines his cards, he begins once more to see the possibilities in the cards.  Perhaps he can change his luck this hand.

Always as Shkop reaches for the Jerky. I will call the 50 tossing chips in a good hand beginning to form.

Not as good as his last hand. He had accidentally let one of the cards he palmed earlier continue to randomize. If he lost now, at least he knew why.

Afraid I've been reminded why I don't play often. Folded and finished

Tarvik then finds a suitable location to catch some rest before the next briefing.

But Captain, I still need to take your money! He smilies friendly to the Captain as he walks away. Turning to Zallven he fans his cards on the table "15, what do got Zallven? said around a big bit of jerky.

After the hand finished Shkop Muskarac spoke louder to the rest of the room. "Anyone else want to join us?"

With a quick flourish, Zallven reveals his hand.  "20!"  He pulls the pile of chips to him.  He glances around.  "Looks like it's just the two of us."  He looks into the cupboard again with disappointment.  "Why is there never any candy?"

Candy is a good idea. There has to be some somewhere. I will go look for some.

Shkop gets up and begins searching for candy. It only takes a few minutes of searching the realitivly small ship to happen upon Gregor sleeping. The opportunity was simply to good. Looking around and finding a marker Shkop sneaks up to Gregor

If stealth check beats opposed perception roll Shkop will draw a mustache on the helmet of Gregor as he sleeps (don't worry it's dry erase).

satisfied with his work Shkop leaves the sleeping man to continue his search for candy.

Spoiler: @mudtop (hover to show)

The rest of the 3 hours before the briefing come rather slowly. Anyone that took the time to rest will find themselves well rested. Thorr awakens Lilyanna and the Colonel. All 3 of them come down, with Thorr taking a seat in one of the oversized chairs nearby. Lilyanna remains standing, with the Colonel joining you on the couch "Will one of you go and get Gregor and Tarvik up. Everyone needs to hear this" the Colonel says. Major Shar decides to do it.

She goes into the back hold and finds both the big Wookiee and Gregor in various stages of sleep. She walks over the Tarvik first "Captain, time for the briefing" She says in an oddly sweet manner for her. She then walks over to Gregor, know he is passed out. She get close to his ear and says "Come on big guy, time to come eat and listen to the Colonel"

She walks back into the central room

Spoiler: OOC Story (hover to show)

Once everyone get seated, Shar begins the briefing. a holo picture of Duros appears on the projector. She zooms into one of the massive space stations "This is Duros Industral main space station and home to the Xilos family. Zar Xilos was the son of Harll Xilos, CEO of DI. You will be acting as the Colonel's honor guard, while I and Thorr remain on the ship. Your inital mission is to meet up with Harll and the Colonel will convey the New Republic's message and official count of Zar and his families' deaths. The colonel will attempt to smooth things over by offering DI an unique contract for the NE Navy to providing fuel for all NE ship entering this section in need of refueling"

She changes the image to a Dome city on the surface "After the meeting, come back to the ship, and we will go to DI's dome city. You will go to Zar Xilos's home, where the killings took place and investigate. The 126th has the place on lockdown currently. Your contact there is Captain Ander Holloway, commander of 126th Team 1. You will see for yourself what occur before escorting the bodies to an awaiting ship at the spaceport there to take the team's remains back to Corellia for proper testing and shipment to their families from there."

She finishes up with the following "This is the plan as of now. Harll Xilos is a very powerful man on Duros and these Imps must have decided to not mess with him, think the death of his son was enough. Be careful and during the meeting, create a perimeter but let the Colonel do all the talking. Once at Zar's home, you are to use any tool you have  or know of to scan and collect any clues you can. Captain Holloway will provide you with what the 126th has been able to come up with there. Any questions?"
