Hey guys. I figured it was necessary to post some guidelines for posting behavior here. I'm brilliant and ahead of my time, I know.  :P I've tried to emulate WotC's boards with some exceptions, if you have any complaints or suggestions feel free to let me know here or by private message.

1. No posting of NSFW material.

Basically, if something involves excessive nudity (it's impossible to avoid all nudity in art), is ****ographic, or ridiculously bloody and gorey, don't post it, or it will be removed by myself or a mod. When classification of posted content is debatable, it is left up to the mod's discretion.

2. No flaming, baiting, or trolling.

Keep all conversations here civil. We're all friends.

3. Don't make alternate accounts unless you have an actual reason.

In other words, don't just make alts to vote for yourself in contests or something similar. Don't use your alts to vote for yourself in contests at all, actually. And it would probably be good if you identified your main account in your alt's sig.

4. No vulgarity or profanity.

"Lite" swear words are okay: hell, damn, ass (as long as it isn't in a vulgar context, subject to mod discretion), etc. Anything worse than those will be removed by a moderator.

5. Only Moderators are allowed to Move topics, Remove topics, Lock topics, Sticky topics, and Merge topics.

If you find a post that violates the site rules, click on "Report to Moderator." If you want to request that a thread be moved, locked, or anything else, send a personal message to a moderator. Active moderators are: CHIA The Friendly Admin, StevenO, sienn_sconn, MasterArkaine, and richterbelmont10.

6. Uh....no smoking?

I've almost certainly forgotten something. Don't hesitate to speak up.

Also, I've decided not to bar discussion of politics, ethics or religion. These are sensitive topics which could conceivably spring up in the off-topic section. However, if anyone steps an inch out of line during a discussion of these topics, the thread is getting modded and the discussion is over.

Great rule! I just have one (or two) question(s) about this:

Is there no way to block the option to DELETE or LOCK a thread for the normal users? The option is still there, so some new users may still use this option even if they are not supposed to do that... You can only do that to a thread that you have created (unless you are a moderator), but it may still be a problem. So is there a way that CHIA The Friendly Admin or one of the moderators could turn of that option for us normal users?

We (the Mods) decided that any locking of threads will only be the realm of Mods-only. As for deleting thread, just send a tell to any of the active mods and we will delete it if there is a good reason too. At this time, only Mods can do either of these things.


Also, this isn't a normal discussion thread, send any of the mods a PM with rule questions please to keep this clear.
