If a PC wheats two pieces of armor and each has a different armor bonus to reflex then which does the PC get, the lower or the higher if the two?  I am assuming the higher of the two since that is how multiclassing works but wanted to check. Think thinsuit, thanks.

Agreed. This why I told my wife not too worry about my birthday or Christmas this year.  I have it covered.  8)

Well I wouldn’t call it ‘decent’ but I finally got my copy to go along with my Boba Fett jacket to place  under my tree this Christmas.

Thanks for the confirmation. I assumed that was the case but this content is pretty old so I wanted to double check with the pros!

Another quick question.  When a character levels and gain access to a new class specific talent or feat then can the character delay using that feat/talent until a later time?  For instance, a lvl1 scoundrel levels to 2 and unlocks a new scoundrel feat but the feat they want they don’t satisfy the requirements needs yet so can they choose not use it yet and instead hold onto it until a later time when they do meet the requirements for the feat?

True but aid another would consume their standard action which means they would be forfeiting their attack that round anyways which would defeat the purpose.  Unless I am misunderstanding how to properly use aid another in combat.

No that clears it up nicely.  We don’t really have a ct killer at 4 but we have 1 that excels at breaking the threshold and has the highest chance of knocking the dathomirian down one condition which in turn will hopefully make it easier for the rest of us to beat his attack/threshold.  Unfortunate they can’t attack twice before the enemy has a chance to respond but at least the rest of us can still benefit should the gm force an encounter in our next game.  Right now he is only aware of us but we need a plan if it ever becomes personal.  Thanks again.

I assumed the same on Combat trickery as well but wanted to ask the experts just in case because that would be so OP to have an enemy flat footed the entire encounter.  The reason I ask about delay is really for setting up an enemy.  If I were to delay until after their turn then I could drop them down a condition or two and then on my next turn I would attack before they could clear the conditions while their damage threshold was lower.  I assume if I am 16 and they are next at 15 then I couldn’t.  But if I were a 16 and they were say a 13 and someone else was a 14 then would that be allowed since I can drop from 16 to behind 14 but still ahead of 13?  I am likely overthinking the strategy but I’m only level 4 so I lack enough talents/feats to consistently break the threshold each round.

Two simple questions: 1. Combat Trickery states that if I spend a force point then the effect persist through the end of the counter.  Does that mean every round the enemy is flat footed against my attacks or they are just flat footed against my next attack in whatever future round it may be?  2. Delay states that I reduce my initiative count for the remainder of the encounter.  Do I reduce it to the point I delayed or can I simply reduce it one position back?  For instance if I delay 3 character initiatives back do I have to take 3 back for the rest of the encounter or can I just go 1 back for future rounds?  Thanks.

I have all but 4 of the physical books from the series and I am in a local game at the moment but only because that group was taking a break from DND.  The local shop in town is more magic then anything else but one day I’ll find my missing four at a decent price.  Until then they can stick that 300 dollar book where the sun don’t shine haha

Yeah I don’t think I will ever get a copy of unknown regions.  The prices are crazy on that copy. Oh well it’s not like I’ll find a local game of it anyways so pdf ftw.

Cool thanks. I got the tech and mech focus feats so I wasn’t sure if I could do the mechanics check for my wives upgrades if she gave me her gear and just  let me do the required mech rolls for her since took computer but not mechanics.

I know that I mean are players allowed to give their gear to another for the sake of stripping/upgrading?  One can’t do a mechanics check unless they are trained it but I am guessing it is okay to let someone else do it for you then give it back?  Otherwise you are saying only those trained in mechanics can partake in upgrades?  I am trained in mechanics anyways only because it’s the only skill that can be used if trained but was curious for the other players that I know aren’t trained in case they ask.

One last simple question. If stripping armor requires a mechanics check then can anyone perform the mechanics check or does your character have to be trained in the ways of mechanics in order to perform the strip?

Thanks. I think I found the equipment I need to complete the task, a personal holoprojector. I am assuming since my armor has an integrated comlink that I can then pass data back and forth between the devices with only a dc20 computer check needed.  I did find the item you were referring to, the visual wrist comm, so if holoprojeftor can’t send the image to the armor upgrade via the armors comlink then I can explore that option as well. Thanks for all the tips. Looking forward to seeing. How this character does, at the very least it should keep the party on its toes haha
