Congratulations on your loot! The Force was with you.  8)

RECG might be the least interesting of the three, but it has some nice things in it. One of the Jedi in my game has a fighting style that's entirely based around the Trick Step talent, and it's very effective when you add other things that combine when your opponent is flat-footed.

If you want to deliberately jump down and land softly, take the levitate power.

If you want to be able to offset the damage from a fall, levitate can also help with that, albeit not by much. When it comes to something like Kenobi's fall in TPM, I would treat that as Theater of the Mind narration. Maul gets a hit with a lightsaber attack that does a fair amount of damage, and it gets narrated as Kenobi being knocked off the platform and falling several stories, but not dying because Jedi-ness. He just takes the damage he took from the lightsaber attack, and the rest is fluff.

What I've used for years is this:

• Maximum base atk is +10
• Maximum heroic level Defense bonus is +10
• Maximum heroic level damage bonus is +5
• Maximum level bonus to skill modifer is +5
• Anything that requires BAB higher than +10 instead requires BAB +10 and a minimum level equal to the original BAB requirement

Note that I don't change anything about how fast your bonuses go up, it's just that at mid-level, your level-based bonuses no longer go up (though you still gain new feats and talents normally, which can raise your overall bonus).

For DCs, I use 10/15/20/25/30, mostly the middle three. It's easy. Difficulty doesn't go up just because your skill bonus goes up. The difficulty is what it is. If you're a 1st level character, you'll struggle with more difficult challenges, as it should be. If you're higher level, the same challenge will be easier, occasionally automatic, as it should be.

Exile's name: Suren Feneri (adapted from Turkish 'enduring beacon')

I imagine Luke will want to debrief them about the Force monstrosity they destroyed. That could lead to some missions working for Luke/the Jedi Order.

The grey Jedi PC could also be a target of recruitment by the Eternal Council. They would like to have a spy with access to Luke.

They could've made it about Kanaan. Introductory cut scene where Depa is killed and Caleb/Kanaan is orphaned... Fast forward to several years later when Kanaan is eking out a living. Have a cut scene at some point where Kanaan flashes back to the class he was in where Kenobi was discussing the Temple beacon, from the novel A New Dawn with James Arnold Taylor doing Kenobi's voice.

May the Force be with us all.

My routine hasn't changed. I work with a home client who has muscular dystrophy, so my presence is still required there, but at least I'm not a health care worker in a hospital or nursing home.

In other news, I got a Fender Mustang PJ bass, technically used, but rarely ever played, so it's like new only $200 cheaper. So I can rock out when I have some spare time.  8)

The Senate / Re: Vehicular Combat, Mounted Combat, and Deflect/Block.

I think I've been pretty consistent in this belief but I generally believe that Vehicular Combat could be used the pilot to negate an outside attack against said pilot.  I may even consider it valid to use against attacks made against others on the vehicle although with this one you'd have a better chance of changing my mind or at least saying there could be some penalty on that roll although the vehicle's maneuverability should come into play with any of these rolls.

I agree with this sentiment. As far as the pilot negating an attack on a passenger, you could invoke the deflect rule and require a Force Point to be spent.

We did boarding a capital ship using a small transport, and it was just "rule of cool" basically. I can't remember if there was a short skill challenge involved, there might have been. But basically it was just land on the capital ship with an airtight seal, and lightsaber your way inside. Totally unrealistic perhaps, but if the adventure simply doesn't work unless you get inside the capital ship, then getting inside isn't something where you want the possibility of outright failure. You can have some consequences arranged if they end up doing it poorly (maybe they have to face more enemies once they get inside, or their transport takes damage, or whatever) but the main thing is ensure they get inside.

If boarding is something that the players initiate, and the GM didn't build the whole adventure around it, then I would make it a more difficult skill challenge.

Glad you enjoyed your game.  8)

I'm a notorious house-ruler, but I've found over the years that Saga doesn't need many house rules at all. A few minor tweaks here and there to match your style of play is probably all you'll need. You can figure that out as time goes by. (In my experience, it's usually a matter of toning down something to keep the math in the sweet spot.)
