  • Dark or Light? Why choose when neither is right?

If we're honest there are a number of big plot holes in StarWars.  If not holes then at least MAJOR mistakes in logic.

That makes no sense. Firstly, it was the medical droid who told Obi-Wan that Padme lost the will to live and that they're losing her. Secondly, why would Obi-Wan not want to save Padme?

Look at the Clone Wars Campaign Guide, both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda have the vital transfer Force power. If they didn't want Padmé to die, it was well within their power to save her. And yet, they didn't...

You cannot save a person from dying with Vital Transfer!! If you could save people from death with Vital Transfer, why do you think Anakin would go to such incredible lengths to seek darkside powers to save Padme? Because (as Palpatine stated) you can’t learn how to cheat death from a jedi!

Course, this is all a moot point because, according to Wookieepedia, she did indeed die of strangulation xD

Quote from: Wookieepedia
In 18 BBY, Amidala's head of security during her time as Senator of the Chommell sector, Gregar Typho, secretly began an investigation into her death, as while he served under her, he had developed an unrequited love for her. Typho later discovered that Amidala had died due to strangulation, a fact that had initially been missed due to the fact that there were no exterior signs of trauma of any kind (including but not limited to bruising on the neck, scratches, and/or signs of congestion on the neck). Multiple, more in-depth autopsies later all revealed and concluded that Amidala had indeed died of strangulation, and despite the fact that there were no external injuries to conclude this, there were internal ones, such as a fractured hyoid bone, damage to the larynx, and compression of the trachea.

You forgot to quote the previous sentence in that paragraph:

“After Amidala's death, there were conflicting reports regarding her death, the circumstances of and behind her death, and how she spent her final hours, but all of the autopsy reports agreed on two things: that she died by strangulation, and that the child she was pregnant with had died with her.”

We can’t trust these autopsy reports because they have obviously been falsified! The child did not die, and there were two children.

Further, Wookieepedia states in the introductory section of Padme:

“Unfortunately, her husband's fall to the dark side had broken her heart, causing her to lose the will to live, which, coupled with the strain of giving birth to her children, resulted in her death.”

Obi-Wan and Yoda could not save Padme from death.
