Hello, and welcome to Ultimate Dream Builds!
This is a contest where the sky is the limit on what you think you can create. Let your dreams about how it would be like in the Star Wars Universe guide you as you create unique and amazing character builds. Now to the rules:

1) House rules can only be used if you carefully explain your rules as part of your build.
2) Builds are limited to a max of Heroic Level 20. For Classes, Feats, Powers, and Talents, please use official Saga Edition sourcebooks as much as you can. If you have a house rule, you have to explain it in detail so we can understand the mechanics of it.
3) Unlimited Point Buy is allowed.
4) You are limited to 3 builds per contest. This keeps it a fair game.
5) Please stay on topic of the thread. If something needs to be discussed more in detail, please start another thread and move your thoughts there. This keeps the contest thread clean and simple.
6) You will have 21 days starting from the 1st posting of the current contest. After the 21 days, 7 more days for voting will be available. Winners will be decided by a simple majority of the cast votes for the submitter that has the largest total number of votes. Only Two votes per member is allowed (but One vote per build) You may not vote for yourself and no redos. All VOTES ARE FINAL!
7) The most important rule: HAVE FUN!!! Think outside of the box, and let those awesome dreams we all have take shape!

No limit on unique characters. After all, the sourcebooks have stats on the Legends Timeline versions of them. Go nuts

Here's Finn at the time he meets Rey on Jakku. His training with his First Order squad mates include standard combat tactics; his Ambush Specialist talents help him wield an unfamiliar weapon (lightsaber) with a little more success; his endurance/extra second wind training helps him survive on Jakku; and his Unwavering Resolve helps him resist his First Order conditioning and refuse to follow orders of those who try to persuade/intimidate him to violate his conscience.

Next up we have Finn's bff, Poe Dameron. He's a pure starfighter ace. He may only be CL 11 on the ground, but when flying his X-Wing he's the best there is. His charisma and Indomitable Personality also allow him to resist interrogation better than most, though not indefinitely.

SENSE TALENT TREE
Force Linguistics: If you encounter a creature with an Intelligence higher than 2 but do not know their language, you can make a Use the Force check against the target's Will Defense to understand their language. If successful, you retain the ability to understand their language for 24 hours.

This is Rey anywhere from Takadona to the end of TFA. When we first see Rey, she's only level 2, a scavenger who takes risks searching for junk in the ruins of the battle on Jakku. As such, the Scavenger (finding junk to use for Mechanics) and Risk Taker (decreases failure for Climb and Jump) feats represents that. Jury Rigger would probably be applicable for when she does the repairs to the Falcon, but I figured the potential for a bonus Force Point would be more useful. The other Fringer talents didn't seem as appropriate (she doesn't do well while trying to barter with Unkar Plutt). However, the encounter with the First Order's TIE Fighters, piloting the Falcon, and the encounter with the pirates on Han's new ship leveled her up to 3rd level (which is when she gets the Force Training feat) around the time she arrives on Takodana or wakes up on Starkiller Base.

The Force Linguistics talent is based off of the Language Absorption Force Technique from the KOTOR book. Rey's ability to understand Chewbacca and to an extent BB-8 reminded Me of Revan's ability to understand the various languages from KOTOR. However, the Technique as provided by the rules doesn't quite work- for one, Rey would need some levels in Jedi Knight or Force Adept. For another, Revan had that ability before he began training as a Jedi (during the Taris part of the game). So it made sense for Me to houserule a Talent.

Another houserule that'd need to be taken into consideration is allowing Rey to use parts of the Use the Force skill untrained. Per the core book, you can't do things like activate a Force Power or Move Light Object without training. Yet she clearly did, using Mind Trick on the 007 Trooper and Move Object to draw Luke's Lightsaber before Kylo Ren did. Rey probably also had to use Force Points, though, so she's down from 6 FP to her current 3. I'd probably errata Use the Force to allow all the skill applications to be able to be used untrained- you'd still need Force Sensitivity feat and not have the +5 bonus for training would also be a large hindrance.

I imagine she'd take a level of Jedi at 4th, which she should be able to reach between TFA and episode 8. Her Intelligence would be raised by 1 so she can pick up Use the Force as a Trained skill. Rey's Wisdom would probably also be boosted, but I wouldn't be surprised if she raised her Strength too. Daisy Ridley did say she got some muscles while training for her stunts and for the lightsaber fight.

Rey is built with a 32 point attribute buy. As a primary hero, I generally let them have 32 point builds.

A Human male with blue eyes and red hair, FN-2199 was trained alongside Finn in the FN Stormtrooper Corps of the First Order. Like his comrade FN-2187, FN-2199 had a moment of hesitation once during his first mission (killing miners on strike at the Pressy’s Tumble asteroid refinery), but overcame his initial reluctance and became a dedicated follower of First Order ideals.

Participating in the battle outside the castle of the pirate queen Maz Kanata, FN-2199 encountered his former comrade, FN-2187 (now going by the name Finn). Engaging the traitor in melee combat, FN-2199’s dedication to the use of the z6 riot control baton allowed him to defeat the lightsaber-wielding Finn with relative ease. However, he was no match for a man with a good blaster at his side.
