Urai Fen's Flagship, The Grey NebulaIn the aftermath of the Clone Wars, the Venator Class Star Destoryers were left out in space after the rise of the new order. With some being mothballed others were left adrift in the points of space they were suppose to defend. For any scavenger this was a dream come true coming across these hulks. These ships soon came into possession of salvagers and resistance groups alike. Even so most of these proud battleships lay adrift. Around the time of Galactic Civil War a criminal organization was rising from the underworld to become a player in galactic affairs.
The Zann Consortium, this organization would bribe, commit piracy, racketeering, and everything that would be considered illegal in the civilized world. They eventually came across a battle group of Venators and decided to bring these vehicles to fighting form yet again with a black market twist. Lieutenant of the organization, Urai Fen, took one of these as his flagship. Unlike his Boss Tyber Zann who was obsessed with Aggressor Class Star Destroyer and its powerful two cannons, he decided that the well roundness of the Venator would be a better fit for space combat. Some of the modifications were upgrades to the main battery, reducing the hanger bay yet stocking it with the most advance fighters the Consortium managed to get their hands on it, even some TIE Defenders, and a stygium based cloaking device. Along with a myriad of other subtle of upgrades to the sensors and slave circuits. Though a costly endeavor this ship can go toe to toe with any imperial or rebel capital ship and still keep on fighting with its advance armament.
