Exactly!
Is there another way to balance it? Suggestions?

I think letting you use it as it is now is not balanced enough, but I'm okay with it. This is just too much

Sounds good. I'll test it in a home game and report back to how broken it is.
Thanks for letting me air out a crazy idea!

No problem. Your flamethrowers right now will be crazy good. Look forward to your use of them.

IS there still room in this game? I was thinking the Jedi Shadow from SWTOR build I posted awhile back would make a good Jedi for the group (http://thesagacontinues.createaforum.com/general-discussion/the-swtor-jedi-shadow/) is the link to the build, the second stat block specifically. I would need a day or two to rework the build with the rules Master Arkaine set forth, the linked build is just for reference of what the final build will be like.

In 6 ABY there were no 'shadows' in existence. You'd have to either place him in carbonite ( ::)) or simply title the build as something else when you post it with your backstory.

I got the year wrong I thought it was after the rebellion and the Galactic Alliance was fully realized and the Order restored. I really like the carbonite idea and would like to try it. I will look into giving him some antiquated weapons, if the idea of a carbonate released Jedi Shadow remnant of the Old Republic is cool with MasterArkaine.

That would be up to Arkaine. I suggest you think hard on your backstory. Anything is possible if you give it a VERY thorough detailed explanation, but it all depends on Arkaine's preference. Just in case, start thinking of other options for his history to cover your rear.

Story: Fire in the night. The Trandoshans did not come gently. And they did not come alone. Tarvik never forgot the face of the officer supervising the raid. He saw it on the Durasteel wall of his holding cell. He saw it on security guards beating his downtrodden brothers and sisters in the mines. He saw it in the eyes of the stormtrooper he killed with his hands in the escape. He saw it everywhere.
Until the day he met the face a second time. Tarvik murdered that face.

But the face did not release him.

Tarvik devoted himself to a relentless campaign against the Empire from that day on. He joined with rebellion forces for supplies and intel. He stalked security guards on remote outposts. He engaged in guerrilla warfare with a half dozen compatriots. He made a name for himself. Green recruits would listen wide-eyed, absorbing the tale of Tarvik, the one who is sending the Empire’s soldiers to the grave. Tarvik the Sender. He had killed fifty, no, a hundred officers! With the formation of the New Republic, Tarvik was assigned to the Krayt Squad, the highest level of combat specialists the Rebellion could find.

The officer’s face still haunts him, sometimes cruel and healthy, as on the night Tarvik lost everything, and others times swollen and broken. Tarvik hopes the eradication of the Empire’s Remnants will bring him peace. If not, he will fight and hunt the slavers forever.

                                                                                                                ---

Tarvik is a good team player, using Stand Tall to help his teammates get an extra hit in. Harm's Way allows him to shoulder the brunt of the enemy's onslaught for his team. Further bolstering his team, and ensuring he'll never be short of actions so long as a skill check is being performed, is his Skillful Advisor talent (fluffed as his connection to the force enhancing the abilities of those around him).

Tarvik himself can give as good as he gets, with a strong attack bonus and the ability to rob his target of both their move and standard actions with Wrruushi Expertise.

Motived primarily by revenge, Tarvik has given in to the dark side of the force more than once, though never often. He got his darkside points in the escape from the mines, killing his officer, and the one battle he almost died in.

EDIT: Build ready for review.

I'm okay with Force users, but not full on Jedi. That's why I gave variant rules on starting weapons.
