TD's Resources.
« on: January 29, 2015, 06:34:30 pm »
My girlfriend made templates of the Ship Operating Licence, Captain's Accredited Licence, Arms Load-out Permit and IKPC Permit from the Bounty Hunter Code box set. The IKPC has an actual DNA profile and iris scan.

Ships Operating Licence

With a ship from my game;

Captain's Accredited Licence

Arms Load-out Permit

IKPC Permit

Do you have an editable version of these that we could download and use?

You can modify them fairly easily in Photoshop. Here are a few I threw together for the Ship Captain in my Old Republic game.

Fixed the links.

If you have adobe acrobat, you can add in fill-able fields. Even for the picture areas.

That's the problem. I haven't been able to convince the wife that I need acrobat. I'll check for a free software to do it.
Edit: one of the downsides of being a college student. All the good software is expensive ;)

Acrobat is free software. These is business levels of it you can get, but all the major tools are there in the free version. Photoship is another matter...

I can ask my girlfriend if she can do that then link in the new files. I'd do it myself but I don't have a clue how to do it.

Where did you get acrobat for free? I know adobe reader is free but acrobat is always at least 100$.

You might want to check and see what kind of student discounts your school provides for software. You can usually get quite a bit of professional software on the cheap or free if you are a student.

Yes reader is free, acrobat is not. They do offer student/teacher deals for acrobat pro, that is how I ended up with a copy. There probably is something out there that will let you place fill-able form fields in these for free, what program I do not know. But I say get acrobat as the extras are too good. Like you have a pdf but can not copy and paste the text from it. Acrobat has a pretty good scanner and will convert a picture pdf into a pdf that can be copied from. There will be some errors like commas and periods mixed up, but I can live with that. I need to find time to figure out how to make pdf's that look like Saga material.

I use GIMPshop for all of my photoshopping needs.  Pretty slick (free) program.

I am taking the time to put fields in the SoL, I forgot how to make a picture button. I still have the code for it forgot how to, and I am trying to figure out the right font. Once done I will post a link to it in my drop box.

Ok here is the SoL with fill-able fields for the info. I will have to re-figure out how to make the buttons search your computer for a picture when I get time. Download it and open in adobe reader you should be able to fill in the text. If you are using reader 11 you can save each SoL you create separately.

So turns out I have acrobat on one of the computers at work and I managed to create the Captain's Accredited License. The only thing it doesn't have right now is the ability to save or the ability to scribble in a signature. I will fix that when I get the newer version of acrobat and livecycle. I can get it through my school for 10$ so hopefully tonight I can make that change. I will update the link when that happens. I am going to try and make copies for each era if people are interested.

illslim2 your SoL works perfectly except for the picture locations. When I click on it, it doesn't do anything. If you want I can modify those as well tonight?

Like I said I forgot how to make the buttons I set as the pictures to ask for a picture when you click it. I have the formula saved I just cannot remember how to set up the button properly. it has been a couple of years since I made a picture button. Trying to remember what pdf I put a picture button in to refresh myself on how to set the button up. I get time I will find one and update the link.
