Thanks for the input StevenO!
I'd have size and species all on one line. After all, how often are you NOT going to have a human be medium sized? Maybe a child would be considered small but everyone older than that will be medium size.
This is an easy fix.
When it comes to listing things you should probably have Class & Level all on the same line. It is probably worth noting what is the first level class because it makes a BIG difference when it comes to hitpoints and skills (number trained and selections available) and can make a smaller difference in things like feats; the impact of when classes are taken after 1st level is generally much smaller although BAB prereqs could still get in the way.
I put two class level lines so a player can have a dummy area to show what his classes are and at each level, plus a total Heroic Level line so 1/2 level can be easily displayed.
I see a place to record the number of FP the character has and then after that the listing for "die type" which is blank on the example. This is where you'd show the benefit of "Strong in the Force." Your Second Wind section in the special abilities is redundant when you already have that information listed elsewhere as well.
I have the Second wind cell because some players may not wish to list it in Special Qualities. I had it listed in SQ, because I like to write out the function and page numbers (I am kind of anal that way!
)
Your "Defenses" block should include notes about things like Block/Deflect and possibly any other reactionary powers/abilities the character may have.
I will see what I can do here.
It may just be me but I'm not a fan of having EVERY skill listed with a skill block. This is especially true when some skills can only be used if trained or which have other conditions on untrained use. Not everyone can make Mechanics checks and splitting out all of the Knowledge skills mostly just takes up space.
I made some changes thus far, but due to my limited coding knowledge I made the list complete to accommodate for not being able to auto-fill (i.e. add a new skill line if a PC needs a skill not listed). I could make the skill list all blank, and player's fill in skills at need, but that might create more confusion for new player.
I will take your input and see where I can add (or take away).
