There is a fine line between bravery and stupidity. Most people are one side of it or the other. Me? I like to think I play hopscotch with it.

On Major Garrick Charvus:

Spoiler (hover to show)

I DO like the heavy weapon specialist using a repeating blaster for various autofire effects while including Burst Fire for those single targets.

The armor has +1 Max dex upgrade Tech upgrade, which if I'm remembering correctly is on the base Tech Specialist list. Sith Trooper armor normally has +4 max dex.
I could have sworn stealth was on the soldier list. Guess that's getting switched to treat injury.

On a side note, how are you doing the spoiler thing? I've been trying to figure that out for days now.

Sith Trooper Armor is identical to Stormtrooper Armor (KotOR 147) or just 'trooper Armor as I like to call it.  I also view it as light battle armor although something else is given that title and it is generally the best light armor in the game.  Normally MAX Dex shouldn't be an issue especially with a Tech Specialist upgrade but that's what happens when you use god stat.  MAX Dex only matters when it comes to REF Defense; for the most part Armor w/ IAD + MAXed DEX = +6 REF between the two although some things can change that.

I'm not sure how set you are on some of the talents Harm's Way (great for minion but not so useful on a boss) or Tough as Nails (two Second Wind's per day doesn't do most NPCs any good when you can still only use one per encounter and they rarely last more than an encounter; here is also works against Shoulder to Shoulder) but Improved Armored Defense is almost a given when you get a +3 REF bonus out of it due to 'trooper armor and Indomitable can be useful when a big move up the CT is needed.

Although it may not come into play that guy could make an interesting pilot.  He may not have the Mechanics or Use Computer but some of those feats/talents carry over to vehicle weapons as well.

You get spoiler blocks by use "spoiler" to start and "/spoiler" to end where the " are replaced with [].  Quoting a post will often show you the hidden formatting even if you do not actually finish the reply.

He's got Harm's Way because he actually the bodyguard (a.k.a the really dangerous guard dog) for the officer. Wasn't really thinking with Tough as Nails. Improved Armored Defense would work better.
