Sal listens to the briefing he starts slightly when Khal introduces himself the suprise almost showing on his face another jedi he thinks strange that the alliance has a mission so dangerous that they need two jedi noticing the other introduce themselves he catalogs what each can go calculating how best to work with each man as the squib finishes he speaks "And that leaves me" says Sal "Salak Orn Jedi knight and pilot" he says "i am an expert in stealth and concealment and am capable as a hand to hand fighter"

The fosh let out an alarmed squawk. One Jedi had been a surprise, but two? He had only even heard of two that were still alive, and he wasn't even entirely sure if General Kota was still around or not. Other than that, he had heard rumors that Commander Skywalker was a Jedi- everyone in the Alliance had heard of the upstart hotshot pilot that made the shot that killed the Death Star, though it was impossible to tell which parts of the tale were fact and which were fiction at times.

"Thank you, now moving on to the real business." Madine's face grows serious. "Your mission is to locate Danni Valton, one of our high level contacts. Since we destroyed the Death Star many of our agents have gone dark and we suspect that there is a spy amongst us. Danni is an officer who works in one of the holonet nodes. She frequently risked her life to pass along vital information that has helped keep the fleet from destruction. Unfortunately, Danni was recently transferred to Coruscant. We originally planned for you to retrieve her before her latest transfer however she was transferred shortly after informing us of the change."
As Madine took a breath Mon Mothma continued, "This mission is one of critical importance, Danni has access to many of our security codes and if she was a double agent or has been discovered, this puts the Alliance fleet in extreme danger."
General Madine interrupted Mon Mothma, "You can expect some support from resistance cells in the Factory District. However direct support from the Alliance will be extremely limited."
Finally Admiral Ackbar spoke, "We will transport you to Taanab and have arranged for another one of our operatives to transport you to Coruscant from there. At that point it will be up to you to find her. She works in the Imperial Military District district however it is unlikely you will be able to get close to it. It is more likely that you will find her in the N-1 Residential sector in the Upper Residential District where her apartment is. Fortunately for you, it is located close to the Landing fields. A map of that sector is uploaded these datapads."
"We can give you two weeks to complete this mission once you arrive on Coruscant. In addition this is an extremely high risk mission, if you are discovered or betrayed it is likely that you will not live past interrogation. Do you have any questions?" asked General Madine

Going to the galactic capital on a suicide mission, hoping to find a loose end before they can divulge any secrets. Normally in less guarded places they could do an extraction or just kill the person from long range with a standard sniper rifle. However this mission was not guaranteed that luxury even in the their was a problem with the rifle Deeso carried, if it would make it past customs. Disassembled and parts distributed among the group. Maybe these people would prove useful. If not the contingency would be up close and personal if she was wearing standard imperial uniform the belt is tight enough to stall bleeding through the pressure and how tight they usually are. It would feel like a quick sharp pain and after the operative undressed, she would collapse and die from blood loss. Though planning that far ahead wasn't useful until they were planetside and actually get a lay of the land.

"Question on customs, most of our equipment save a blaster pistol wouldn't make it past a standard starport's customs crew if they do even a passing sweep of it. How do you suggest we get them past without well placed bribes?" Deeso asked, looking at the jedi, it would prove even more problematic.  Even saying the word jedi would more than likely get them shot on the Capital.

"We know this is unusual. And normally we would just write this one off as a loss." General Madine glared slightly at the holographic image of Mon Mothma, "However a few of the Alliance leaders feel that this mission could be a success. Our operative who will take you to Coruscant is a regular trader from Tanaab and has ways of getting equipment through customs. Any illegal weaponry will have to be given to him after you leave Tanaab. Beyond that he is authorized to pull from a large supply of credits to help you get planet side. Also if you have any special requests that might be more difficult to hide aboard his ship please tell us now. We will try and get a message to resistance cells in the Factory District and within Invisec."

Khal hasn't been on Courscant since before Order 66 and his expulsion from the Order. It will be like a new word to him. "Anti-alien sentiment will be the toughest part of being on any major Imperial world. Keeping to ourselves and not attracting unwanted attention to biggest thing that will keep us alive. I've been a Jedi-in-hiding for over 20 years now, and learned some trick to confuse or even have them ignore you completely, without using the Force I'll add"

Varied group and varied skills.  The Alliance must care very much for Danni Valton.

I raise my head at the mention of Coruscant.  Imperial Center.  An excellent hunting ground.  The tall one with the hood and mask voices my silent concerns about weapons.  The arsenals we carry require special consideration if we are to use them at our destination.

The Jedi's concern for anti-alien sentiment does not worry me.  I can pass as human easily enough, but his point is well taken.  The Fosh, Squib, and Mon Cal will all stand out if they are spotted.  But I do not think they will.  I have seen them walk and move, and their gaits are indicative of those who are accustomed to stalking.

A small smile creases my face.  This is a fine pack of hunters.

Cailid's ears flatten against the back of his head as he scowls from the news of the mission. An infiltration mission, sure. A snatch'n'grab, no problem. Pretty much anywhere would have been an acceptable challenge. But this was the heart of the beast, the center of evil... The capital planet, Coruscent. Reaching into his pouch, Cailid draws out a sliver of metal. He bites hard into it, leaving a different story than the previous 13 bites. "Well... didn't want to live forever." Cailid shrugs, trying to settle his raised heckles. He grins lightly. "At least I'm a smaller target than you guys."

Sotorre couldn't help but laugh a bit, "Be careful what you wish for, I guess. These past few years I've been begging to be put back on the front lines, and now? Now I'm being thrown right into the heart of the core? The force must have a sense of humor..." Regardless, there didn't seem to be any fear in his voice... A bit of excitement even lingered. "I'm pretty good at sticking to the shadows when the time calls for it, or otherwise keeping myself hidden. I can prevent myself from drawing too much attention."

"Your pilot will remain on Coruscant until your mission in complete. As far as safe houses, you can find refuge among the resistance cells in the Factory District and in Invisec." General Madine face was grim, "I know that we are tossing you into a situation that could be far beyond any assistance we could provide however we need you to complete this mission. We also have a...."should the occasion arise" type mission for you while you are on the planet.  Danni had a computer spike that she was to install in one of the holonet nodes that hasn't been activated. Should the opportunity arrive to recover and install the spike that would be most beneficial. However your primary objective should take priority. Do you have any further questions for us?"

Already in Deeso's mind their were numerous ways this mission could go most of them included a dead body, though that body was a different member of this group. Ensign eager would end up in the hands of the imperials and rather let him spill any secrets it would be a blaster blot to the head, would do.

For the Jedi it would be a different story they would be in the Capital filled with members of the Inquisitorus that will no doubt get a feeling they would be there, they would always put as 'I feel the presence of so and so' more than likely one would slip up and end up dead or worse.

It was not uncommon for assassin's to trade stories - behind closed doors - about their respective guild when the contract would no longer have any significant weight in the galaxy normally it would be three decades and the details would be known or the person that carry out the hit was dead or missing. However with the Inquisitorus their reputation was known for torturing prisoners for weeks even months on end getting every last piece of information and then breaking them. One such member of a respective guild was caught and then the empire took a bounty on all the members of that guild, because of the person's intended target, High Inquisitor Lord Antinnis Tremayne. Most members of that guild were reportedly killed either by up and coming bounty hunters like Boba Fett and veterans such as Cradossk. Regardless it wasn't the stormtroopers or the military officials, but the organizations behind them that worried the Assassin.

Whatever the case was that in Deeso's mind 'the killer' might prove more useful in keeping them two alive. Deeso nodded's as the General was giving the final orders. Then silently waited for everyone except the Madine to leave the room wanting to speak a moment in private regarding 'more explicit orders' and proper clearance.

The others in the room, their thoughts were a mess of doubt and worry. Khal had picked up a habit of reading surface thoughts of others, something as a padawan, he was taught to ignore. He found it helped him be able to read people better. It was limited to just feelings unless you focused on it.

Two Jedi. Courscant. A recovery mission. High stakes. It has been years since any of his missions this intense. Somehow, even with the general feeling of impending doom and worry, they would pull this off. Focus on the problem and fix it.

He answers Madine's question "I do not have anymore questions. I'll take my leave now if that is all."

Cailid tastes the metal sliver in his mouth, making memory of the moment, the gash in the sliver to write it down. The grey furred Squib pockets his sliver as the general lays out the secondary objective.

"I'll keep my eye open for such an opportunity," Cailid volunteers. "I'm sure we have enough minds focused on our primary objective, I can tend to the secondary if we get the chance." No sense worrying now about the particulars of the mission. Worst comes to worse, he'll leave a good looking corpse.

Cailid hops off of the chair. The meeting appears to be about over as it is. When they're dismissed, Cailid returns to his cabin and packs lightly for the mission. He is quickly ready to go.

"You are dismissed. Your shuttle for Tanaab leaves in 3 hours. I suggest that you use that time to pick up any additional equipment you need." The Alliance leadership saluted as you stood. "May the Force be with you!"
