Phram looks to Valkin.  "I presume you have a layout of this section of the city.  Are there tunnels under the city we can use?  Or perhaps acquire non-descript local transportation?"

Valkin nods "There are back alleys  and lower level tunnels all throughout this area  and yah I can get us a covered speeder, I know a guy who owes me a favor and if nothing else I'll ask Joe he'll be at the bar all day plus he's got 3 smuggler exits into the sewers in the bar"

Mac perks up at the Smuggler escape hatch mention "Blaze used to say something about those. Guess they came in handy more then once for him. Never had the pleasure." Korr just smiles "Sounds goods. We can hoof it if we have too. You and Nabriana have the connections. Mac is basically burned at this point, as they will try to question any of my known associates." Mac just shrugs "True, though I haven't received any calls yet. That, by itself is odd. Whoever is pulling the strings also might not want to tip you off, and asking Blaze or me about you would do that." Korr nods "Might be a good idea if you go and find out what you can while we slip out later. You are far more known here. As much as I want your gun with us, might be tricky" Mac holds his hands up in defeat "I hate you when you are right. Yeah, I'll go check in with the local Pub crew, get an update on their hunt for you. I'll leave as you are taking off" Korr smiles "Any objections to Mac leaving the group for now?"

Phram nods. "Indeed, whatever information he can gather for us would be useful.  If we are to reclaim the stolen Frostfyre computer, we need to know as much as we can."

After some more discussion you head over to the bar to get some breakfast and meet up with Kay. Entering the bar you find him sitting at a table near the back chatting with a rather busty woman who seems to be a waitress Joe is at the Bar serving a duros and a rodian the rest is empty at the moment.
"Valkin!" Kay calls jovially "good to see you back my friend sit down"
"usual breakfast special Muscles?" asks the barmaid grinning at Valkin and looking to the rest of the group.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, Joro allowed himself a moment to turn away and snicker. Humans had such funny names for each other. He covered mouth and waited for his composure to return as the conversation continued.

Mac slips out as the rest of the team heads back to the cantina. He had a lot of intel to gather and not much time. He found his speeder, deactivated the security package, and races off. After a 15 minute flight, he back at his own place, where he gets to work on the local listening posts on any chatter he can find on any hunt for Korr on-planet here. He kicks open a mini cold storage near his computer station and grabs a blue milk bottle and take a drink as her pours through the nonsense of the last 26 hours
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Korr takes his freshly cleaned Smugglers gear and adds a hood to it. His pistol is at his hip this time, with his lightsaber hidden in a ammo area on his belt. When the team walks in, Korr takes off the hood, but quickly goes to the team's table and stays quiet. He does see Joro run off though, and overhears the slight at the humans pet names "You mean you been around humans how long and you still dont get their nicknames? I mean, I went years where Mac and Blaze calls me nothing but Horns. They probably call you Furball or something weird like that. Come, lets us grab some food because 'Muscles' eats it all" He then taps Joro slightly in the direction of their table and makes the common human hand/arm move of 'After you'

He offered a shrug in reply before moving to the table. He gathered his robes and casually settled in.

"The council has changed." He uttered after a moment. "I've been among the jedi very little compared to you and Master Boshar...but I can tell many of their decisions have become reactive and harsh...and narrow minded. If my old master were still alive she would have been very cross over their choices regarding you."

Korr nods "Never been one for armchair politics, but the leadership has been distracted. Anyone not seeing even a hint of that is as lost as the Council is." He turns his attention and eye to Joro completely. "You speak of your former master, yet never speak of her by name...." Korr says, fishing around a bit in the surface emotions around Joro "... yet she deeply affected you. Anyone with any brain can almost see the pain you carry about her. I'm not asking for the full story, but tell me about her, starting with her name if you dont mind of course"

Joro fidgeted in his seat and avoided Korr's eye for a moment. He hadn't expected the conversation to shift in that direction.

"Master Limuil." He cleared his throat. "She wasn't well known in the order. From what I remember of our talks she disliked being in the spotlight."

"But she'd been around for some time, done and seen a lot...or as much as a Miralukan can 'see', I suppose...She was wise but her way of thinking was abstract and it was hard to understand it at first. She told me once..." Joro smiled as an image came to him of Limuil in her jedi robes and non descript head dressing. She always seemed relaxed and aloof when he'd been near her. "...I was the exact reason, the perfect excuse, she would never be on the coucil."

Joro blinked and looked back at Master Korr knowing that sounded odd. "I mean to say that she was very good at thinking assymetrically -"out of the box", as humans say- and her way of doing things made her unpredictable. That makes too many people nervous." He paused as the memory of her voice teased his thoughts. "Limuil accepted me as a pupil after my arrest because I think...thought, just like her."

Joro allowed himself a smirk that it took over two days to actually capture him several years ago...then realised it had been less than five. He'd barely learned anything as a jedi under her guidance.

"Ssshe can teach usss inssstead." a hollow, hissing whisper announced as the image of Limuil's alluring twin melted into his thoughts. Joro frowned.

"Unorthodoxy didn't save her though." He admitted quietly. "It should have. The force should have been with her...but she gave all of her luck to me when she began teaching me."

"I knew of your Master, but was more by her rep then anything else. Seems we would had gotten along well. As I'm sure you figured out by now, nothing I do is normal" Korr says with a slight chuckle "Anyway, glad to see you arent as shut down as you were last night. "

He offered a shrug and glanced out the window. The eternal twilight of the city, and the countless neon signs that accompanied it, fill the sky with its ambiance. This planet was a beautiful place when you stayed above the surface.

"I'm not giving up. Too much depends on this mission for it to fail."
