Sylr Tevv claps his hands together a couple of times.  "Capital! Capital!  The cargo is downstairs and being hauled to your ship even as we speak!  The crates will be stacked outside the ramp!"   He pulls out a comlink.  "Alright, gentlemen, I hope you are quick memorizers!  It's not good business to have too many copies of the work order!"  He presses his comm button, and those who are still holding Tevv's datapads see the little computers begin to execute a deletion program.

It dawns on Kenno for the first time that the data pad might have information that he'd like to know. But by the time he starts scanning, all he sees is the data disappearing from the screen.

Dokai nods and makes a few quick taps on the datapad, trying to transfer whatever he can. Might be useless data, but could be a gem in there.

"Well, Sylr, looks like we are off; Dokai, you got itinerary? Then we'd better get to the ship and take possession of the cargo."

On the way I'll see if I can find anybody looking to send additional cargo to Roldalna. Also curious about the custom posts if the Roldalnans are free traders.

Then he coughs up a couple feathers.

Yoss thinks a bit, and decides his best bet is to find some sort of legal express cargo somebody needs shipped right away but that might help with their cover as honest merchants and boost their income for the trip a bit. That way they can also hopefully get it loaded quickly. A really desperate passenger might work too, but they are already pretty maxed out on living space with the current crew.

For the trip, Yoss can pilot, perhaps Dokai can be engineer, Kenno can be weapons officer, and Hetton can co-pilot and operate the navcomputer.

As the info starts to disappear, I quickly try to send what´s left of it to my comlink.

Spoiler: computer use (hover to show)

"Damn, that was fast! Though I understand that paranoia is considered a positive trait in this line of work." I look up from the now blank screen. "Anyone got some of it?" I hope that what I downloaded would suffice, but it´s always better to have some backup.

Both Hetton and Dokai are able to copy the information and send it to their own comlinks or datapads before Sylr Tevv's program wipes his datapads clean.

The Sullustan looks at his chrono again.  "Alright, gentlemen!  Our time is up!  If you will please go with my associate, he will escort you to your ship!"  The human thug who escorted you to Tevv's office appears at the door and politely holds it open while Tevv speaks into his comlink and tells someone to send the next group up.  Tevv then picks up the sonic scrapper and heads back to the top of his ladder to attack the sagging ceiling once more.

Yoss finds a merchant who wants to ship 80 tons of fuel to Roldalna as quickly as possible.  He'll pay 2000 credits if you can get there within 12 hours.

Dokai hands the now blank datapad back, not really waiting for anybody to take it, and he slides it onto the desk letting it clack the half-inch drop. As he begins to walk out the door, he goes past Hetton, "Yeah, I got it. Or most of it at least."

[OOC]
Excellent!  Sparx, since you made the computer check, roll 2d12 so we know how many hours to subtract from the travel time.

Is there anything else that the group wants to do before prepping the ship for travel?  If there isn't, we can jump straight to the hyperspace travel and the group will have to decide if they want to take those shortcuts Sylr Tevv gave them, or if you guys want to brave the customs checkpoints.

Kenno is good to go!

I vote that we take the short cut.

Dokai is going to go with the group. If they say shortcuts, he's fine with that. In fact, if it makes the job go by faster, he's even more happy with it. He wants those credits as soon as possible.

"Let's go! Got the fuel loaded and we got a long ways to go and a short time to get there!"

"Reminds me of a story I head once, actually..."

We definitely want to avoid those customs posts.

"Elek," I agree with Yoss. "Time´s wasting. We need to keep moving." While Dokai plots the course, I get my helmet off, and help Yoss with the preflight check.

"Save the storry for later, Yoss. We need to get this can moving, and as soon as we do, I think we should work some magic on the signature of those guns in our cargo hold. We´ll have time later for bedtime stories.

As soon as we enter the hyperspace, if nothing goes wrong, I get up from the copilot seat. "Time to play with the cargo. Dokai, coming with me?"
I go to the hold and look on the crates. I carefully open them one after the other and work on the signature of those blasters.

Spoiler: changing signature (hover to show)

Some time into the work, I take a package from my bandolier, open it and immediately the hold is filled with intense stench of fish, only marginally improved by spices and faint undertone of fruit. All crew can guess I opened another mandalorian ration bar, it is not the first time they smell it. As I fiddle with the blasters, I occassionaly take a bite, but I am carefull not to get anything dirty.

"Want some?" I offer to share with Dokai or the others, if they are present.

As Yoss starts to go into a tale, Dokai jumps out of his chair with the first mention of a tale. As they get a bit down the corridor, "How does he have a story for every little thing? You'd think he'd lived 20 lives by now, given all the tales he has."

When they enter the cargo hold, he looks over the crates, he's rather grateful his sense of smell is rather used to the fishy intrusion. "I'm gonna pass, thanks."
