Valles turns to Kol and Han, "Masters Jedi, if you would show this bounty hunter a small measure of trust and please back away and allow him to feel safe."

"With that, I hope you can reciprocate by standing down. Please lower the blaster from the sample."

Spoiler: Can the BS (hover to show)

Bossk snarls.  "Since you are the only trustworthy one here," he says to Lady V, "I'll offer you this trade - I'll hand over the genetic sample if you'll take its place and accompany me on my ship.  We'll arrange for your safe return once we've left the system."

We are effectively out of rounds at this point - although if anyone wants to take an aggressive action, we'll enter rounds again (with the acting character at the top of the initiative roster and going from there - with the exception, of course, of triggered readied actions).

Based on Ahsoka's premonition, you may have only a few minutes to resolve this situation one way or another before the situation is likely to change - and not for the better.

"I think we can come to an agreement. Lower the weapon and let's discuss this. The Jedi are standing down, as you can see."

Lady Valles would like to make a follow-up deception check 1d20(11)+14=25.

With just one potential hostile left Tyro would be using Skilled Advisor in these immediate "negotiations" to boost Lady Vallas check +5 so it would be result of 30.

Does Bossk still have his CT penalties?  I know it might just be that -2 Kol inflicted, but if Bossk has more than that, I'm very tempted to try a disarm attempt and hope that Ahsoka can catch it.

For the moment, yes - but he'd presumably be spending swift actions on that each turn, so they will disappear very quickly.

I'm unclear as to the Deception you're attempting here.  There are still two Jedi standing next to Bossk with ignited lightsabers, as well as a a Clone Sergeant, two squads of security guards, and a Durros with a heavy repeating blaster all training their weapons on him.  I don't think any Deception check can convince him that he's not in immediate danger of - at best - capture (and at worst death).  At this point, simply convincing him to hand over the item with no physical (as opposed to verbal) guarantee of his safety is impossible.  Also, he is playing for time, which he clearly believes favors him.  Set against that, an ace you have up your sleeve of which he is not entirely aware is Blaze's presence on the freighter (if he thought about it he might be able to realize there must be somebody in there but he hasn't, really, and in any event he doesn't know who or where)

At this point you can basically revert to what Anakin would refer as 'aggressive negotiations (with lightsabers)' (i.e. a kinetic solution including some kind of aggressive action - which is likely but not guaranteed to result in him blasting the vial), accept his terms, or extend the standoff.

"Of course you'll be able to get her back - I'm certain that the Republic would be more than happy to pay a reasonable reward for the safe return of a beloved Senator.  And I'm a businessman, after all."
